Document Capture

Our eKYC solution supports both real-time capture and gallery upload modes for document scanning. Below is an outline of the configuration options available for each mode.

Capture Modes

1. Real-time Capture

Real-time capture includes two modes based on the availability of IQA (Image Quality Assessment):

  • Scanning Mode(IQA Model-guided): The system detects whether the document is positioned correctly and captures the photo automatically. If the document quality is below standard (e.g., blurry), a pop-up will prompt the user to switch to manual capture mode. If IQA is available and functioning, this is the preferred mode.

  • Manual Capture Mode: This mode allows the user to manually press the shutter button on the camera to capture the document photo.

Scenarios for Redirecting to Manual Capture

    1. When the document appears blurry during scanning, a pop-up will prompt the user, allowing them to switch to manual capture.
    2. If IQA is not supported, the system will directly redirect to the manual capture page.
    3. When the user clicks the manual capture button in the Help section, they will be redirected to the manual capture page.

2. Gallery Upload

  • Gallery Upload: Users are directly taken to the gallery upload page where they can upload a document from their photo library without any intermediate steps.

Upload Availability Configuration

You can set up the upload behavior as follows:

  • Always Available: The file upload option is always available to the user.

  • Available Only When Camera Capture Fails: The file upload option will only be available if the camera capture fails.

  • Not Available: The file upload option is disabled.
