Document Capture
Our eKYC solution supports both real-time capture and gallery upload modes for document scanning. Below is an outline of the configuration options available for each mode.
Capture Modes
1. Real-time Capture
Real-time capture includes two modes based on the availability of IQA (Image Quality Assessment):
-
Scanning Mode(IQA Model-guided):
The system detects whether the document is positioned correctly and captures the photo automatically. If the document quality is below standard (e.g., blurry), a pop-up will prompt the user to switch to manual capture mode.
If IQA is available and functioning, this is the preferred mode. -
Manual Capture Mode:
This mode allows the user to manually press the shutter button on the camera to capture the document photo.Scenarios for Redirecting to Manual Capture
- When the document appears blurry during scanning, a pop-up will prompt the user, allowing them to switch to manual capture.
- If IQA is not supported, the system will directly redirect to the manual capture page.
- When the user clicks the manual capture button in the Help section, they will be redirected to the manual capture page.
2. Gallery Upload
- Gallery Upload:
Users are directly taken to the gallery upload page where they can upload a document from their photo library without any intermediate steps.
Upload Availability Configuration
You can set up the upload behavior as follows:
-
Always Available:
The file upload option is always available to the user. -
